Jon proposed to Manal in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop. "I was completely surprised," Manal shares. "He had secret photographers and videographers filming the whole thing."
The couple, who live in Australia, planned their wedding from afar with the help of family. "We chose a navy, blush and champagne palette—romantic colours I have always loved," Manal says. "They all went together beautifully in the flowers, bridal party outfits and decor."
For the bride, the anticipation of getting married was a feeling she'll never forget. "Our first look is one of my favourite moments. Seeing each other, just the two of us, was so intimate," Manal explains. "It was amazing walking down the aisle and looking at one another, knowing we would soon be husband and wife."
Jon and Manal shared their first dance to “You Send Me” by Sam Cooke. "We heard this song one evening, looked at each other and said, 'This is it!'" Manal recalls. The reception continued with music by the nine-piece band, Symmetry Studios. "They kept everyone dancing all night long," Manal says. "The guys also loved the whisky and cigar bar—the whisky was gone in a flash!"
