Enchanting Natural Backdrops
With outdoor weddings set to continue as the place to party in 2022 think outside of the garden and take things into the woods. Plan to have your ceremony and reception in the forest-at golden hour to make things extra-magical-and rock a statement dress for maximum style impact.

Effortless Tablescapes
A soft, tonal palette, breezy linens, classic tableware elements and tons of candles in various shapes, sizes and heights create an easy and very modern-feeling table setting. Also at the heart of the table: an organic feeling centrepiece that's not too wild, not over-styled and in a pretty palette of romantic soft shades.

Rattan
Known for its woven texture, rattan has been a huge hit in the home design industry, so it's no wonder stylists and planners are finding ways to weave this boho look into their celebrations. Expect a reception scene filled with everything from rattan chairs to wicker lights, which is perfect for couples seeking a shabby chic vibe with a modern twist.

Intimate Luxe Indoor Decor
With intimate weddings we anticipate celebrations with overflowing with lavish touches. Indoor venues that are on the more intimate scale (to cater to the guest count) will be at the forefront of most couples' choice. Keep the decor elegant by adding candlelight and chic chairs.

Tropical Tones
Brights feel so right for 2022! We love colours with punch when it comes to wedding florals-think a mix of corals, raspberry reds, zesty orange and magenta, punctuated with just a hint of greens. Mix and match these hues in all your floral decor to bring some electric energy to your party.

Something Blue
Our must-have colour palette for 2022? Think fifty shades of blue. As a calm hue, blue is the perfect wedding colour choice. We love the colour blue for everything from your florals, cakes and wedding accessories. It especially makes a statement when used in floral installations as it's not a conventional colour choice.

Cascading Bouquets
Floral arrangements that literally overflow with big, beautiful blossoms are on point in 2022 (it's a very 80s-inspired vibe). While a huge bouquet can add up, we suggest asking your florist for recos on seasonal blooms and to add more greenery into the mix, which should keep your bouquet budget from growing.

The New Bohemian
Effortless style bordering on minimalistic is the freshest way to spin bridal boho this year. Voluminous manes and rosy makeup paired with a billowy dress void of excessive detailing and crafted from an ethereal fabric like silk chiffon or tulle creates a romantic and very modern wedding style.

Princess Diana-Inspired Gowns
Thanks to the latest season of The Crown, all things Princess Diana are having a moment most notably her 1981 wedding dress. The most iconic Royal wedding dress of all time, Diana's over-the-top taffeta, sequin, pearl and frilled lace gown had the most extraordinary puffed sleeves, a statement detail many designers have incorporated into their 2022 designs.

Easy Hair
Forget fussy updos or voluminous beach waves. The freshest wedding hair for 2022 has a polished, elevated, every-day-chic appeal. Think a simple chignon or better yet a polished ponytail finished with a few dainty jewelled hairpins to add a touch of luxe.

Separates
The best way to create a bespoke bridal look in 2022 is by mixing and matching separates to create a look that's uniquely you. This allows you to easily convert your wedding look from ceremony to reception to party-customization is key.

Convertible Gowns
Love a train but don't want to wear it for the entire day? Designers are embracing convertible silhouettes-we're seeing detachable peplums, skirts, trains, capes and sleeves. Choose a look a look that has all the drama but can be easily converted into a simpler, sleeker, sexier look throughout your day.

Elevated Cocktail Menus
With the experience of dining being so important, having cocktails as part of the full dining experience is on brand for if you are especially into the foodie scene. Having cocktails available as guests arrive before dinner is a great option or we like to serve a specialty cocktail or two by bar cart at tables for a fun interactive experience!

Mini Munchables
Instead of passed canapes at cocktail hour, create individual charcuterie boards for guests. Mini plated food stations are also a trend on the rise and one that can be done safely: guests each get a plated experience but in mini meals at chef stations around the reception. Each plate is beautifully presented to make each plate a unique experience and a mini component to a full meal. We love this elevated but a casual dining experience!

Plated Meals
This elevated style of service is most popular now as it has been deemed the safest service style during the COVID-era and suited perfectly to more intimate weddings. It allows you the opportunity to spoil your guests and create a super indulgent and really customizable food. Consider also incorporating a wine pairing to create a full food service experience (also this means less time at the bar during the reception).

Victorian-Inspired Sweets
Take a retro approach to your sweet table by presenting an array of treats that feature a romantic, feminine and whimsical design. Look for cake design ideas in your mother or grandmother's china collection-this cake was inspired by the classic Royal Albert pattern Old Country Roses.
