Cole and Sarah worked at a restaurant together for a number of years before they started a relationship. “At first we did not like each other,” Sarah says with a laugh. But that changed one evening when Cole and Sarah were both closing the restaurant. “We sat down to eat together and ended up talking for hours,” Sarah says. “We both walked away shocked by how easy it was to talk to each other and even more shocked that we actually enjoyed each other’s company.”
The couple wanted everything to look very clean and sharp at their celebration, but they also added lush flowers for a touch of whimsy. “The flowers were exquisite and arranged in such a unique way,” Sarah recalls.
A stunning detail was the groomsmen’s merlot-hued suits. “We were a little hesitant to go with this colour of suit, but they really made the flowers pop and also complemented the bridesmaid dresses really well,” Sarah remarks.
During the reception, the couple left with their photographer briefly to take sunset photos. “It was amazing to have a moment together away from everything,” Sarah says. “To have even just 10 minutes alone to soak in all the feelings and emotions that we felt throughout the day was something we will remember forever.”
