Warren and Clarissa knew from the beginning that they wanted a romantic wedding filled with unique details. "We chose a palette of pastels and incorporated plenty of lovely, thoughtful details into the decor, including a textured floral cake, the vintage book our ring bearer used to carry the bands and our Polaroid guestbook," Clarissa says.
To keep with the ethereal vibe of the day, Clarissa searched for the dreamiest wedding gown possible. "I had a specific vision in mind for my dress and I was having a really hard time finding the one. I eventually found a store that luckily carried the exact dress I wanted. It was rustic, romantic and had really subtle, intricate details—I fell in love at first sight," she says.
Another favourite detail of the day were the favours Clarissa and Warren created for their guests. "We painted mugs by hand for our guests as the party favours. Warren and I put a lot of thought and time into this gift and we were really happy with the end product. They went like hot cakes," she says.
The night wound down with a delicious dinner at their venue with their closest friends and family members. "Dinner was one of the highlights of the day," Clarissa explains. "We love to eat and share great food and laughs with our family and friends, so we chose the River Cafe as our venue because they have such amazing dishes."
