A Romantic, Elegant Wedding In Vaughan, Ontario

Tyler gave Aisha the ultimate birthday surprise: tickets to see Beyoncé in concert and a ring. "When Tyler got to my house he told me to open my gift... and it was Beyoncé tickets! I screamed!" Aisha recalls. "After receiving those tickets, I really was not expecting a proposal."

The pair decided on a blush, gold, and cream colour scheme for their wedding. "I've always been a girly-girl who loves pink and glitter," she explains. Along with her fairy-tale cathedral veil and the floral wall backdrop of her dreams, Aisha’s vision was brought to life.

The couple admits the vows were one of the most special parts of the day. "Writing vows is not the easiest task in the world, but once they were done, they were perfect for us," Aisha says.

To make the night even more special, Aisha and her uncle danced to "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole. "Sharing the father-daughter dance with my uncle was definitely a highlight," Aisha says. "Unfortunately, my dad passed away when I was 16. However my uncle, who has been such a big part of my life, stepped in to share this dance with me."

Tyler and Aisha shared their first dance to "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. "We had heard the song only a few months before our wedding and both knew it was the one instantly," Aisha says. "There is a line where he sings, 'we were just kids when we fell in love, not knowing what it was...' I honestly believe this song was written for us."
