Blending culture, tradition and modern design were the the initial ideas behind this beautiful styled shoot in Hamilton. The team at Sue Gallo Designs dreamt up the concept and worked diligently to ensure the theme was incorporated into everything. "With the harshness of this long, stormy and cold winter we needed something to inspire us and to get the creative juices flowing," says Sue Gallo of Sue Gallo Designs. "We wanted to bring a little bit of spring into February."
Various shades of pink were used with hints of gold to enhance the star colours. "We used soft muted hues of crisp whites accented with muted taupes, blushes and dusty rose blossoms," Gallo explains. "The colours balanced the more dramatic and deep tones of the hanging art work by Cathy Yantsis." The tablescape incorporated whimsical details that enhanced the dreamy colour palette. "The dreamy clouds of cherry and apple blossoms at the head tablescape were the real show-stoppers of the day," Gallo says.
Other pink-inspired details include a dusty rose suit from RW & Co., modern invitations from Simply Sealed and soft-pink-hued couches from Warehouse 84. The venue was the picturesque Art Gallery of Hamilton. "Throughout the venue, guests were treated to romantic details and stylish signage," Gallo says.
