A Chic Wedding in Ottawa, Ontario

Miranda and Roberto first met during a school field trip to New Brunswick—they sat a seat apart and there wasn’t a dull moment for the entire 12-hour bus ride! After their first dance as a married couple to “Then” by Brad Paisley, a song that mirrors their love-at-first-glance relationship, the duo and their 110 guests were treated to a memorable video and slide show during dinner. To the couple’s surprise, the slide show featured their almost wedding song “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. “It was like we had two wedding songs,” Miranda explains. “The video was a remarkable mock movie trailer about our relationship, and it moved me to tears,” she continues. In addition to the video, the groom’s improvised surprise speech also brought tears of laughter and joy to everyone in the crowd.
