A Luxurious Vancouver Wedding With Gorgeous Gold Details
Before they started dating, Annie and Jimmy were co-workers. One day, while river rafting with colleagues, Annie fell in the water, and Jimmy jumped overboard to save her. "I guess it's fair to say he fell for me!" Annie laughs.
The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver was the venue for the pair's nuptials -- a party that was inspired by a shared dream to visit the Windsor Castle. "We really liked the European flair of the hotel," Annie explains.
The flowers and the decor for the couple's wedding went above and beyond their expectations. "I was completely taken aback when I walked in for the first time," Annie says. "The team from ROA Floral Event Design did a tremendous job. The spaces were filled to the brim with the freshest blooms: imported roses, pink and white hydrangeas, cymbidium orchids, tulips and peonies."
An unforgettable moment for Annie was walking down the aisle with her father. "As my dad let go of my arm and linked it to my future husband's, it felt as though I was transitioning from one phase of life to the next," Annie recalls. "It was deeply symbolic."
