A Luxe Black-Tie Wedding In Vancouver

For their Vancouver wedding, Vicky and Geoffrey wanted to incorporate some of Vicky's favourite colours. "We had a 'rose quartz and serenity' theme, complete with baby blue, pink, blush and silver details," Vicky says. "I love pink but I also wanted to include 'something blue' in the wedding."

The couple's wedding was an elegant affair designed with gorgeous draping and peach flowers. When they saw the décor and flowers, the couple says they were blown away. "It was definitely a wow moment when we saw our venues," Vicky explains. "Balconi did a top-knotch job of creating spectacular floral arrangements that suited our theme."

The earlier parts of the day included the best moments for the bride and groom. "During our first look, Geoffrey almost cried when he saw me in my wedding dress for the first time," Vicky recalls. "I’ll never forget seeing his reaction."

For the couple, the greatest feeling was when the ceremony was over and the commissioner announced that they were married. "We spent a lot of time planning for this moment, and we were so happy it finally came," Vicky says.

After the day was over, the excitement didn’t stop there. "We were glad the day was over, simply because we could start planning our honeymoon!" Vicky shares. "Taking a vacation after all the hard work was done was simply awesome."
