When Ryan and Stacey started planning for their wedding, they knew they wanted an intimate affair with their closest family and friends. "The River Café is definitely one of our most-beloved restaurants, and we knew it would be the perfect venue to host our dream wedding," Stacey shares.
The couple decided on a rustic-chic theme with a colour palette of navy, blush and copper. "Although our wedding was in downtown Calgary, we really wanted an outdoor setting with lots of natural light and character," Stacey says. Organic details were used to decorate the space, including wood flower boxes, a live-edge cake stand and copper mugs.
The pair's favourite details included Ryan's custom cowboy boots and engraved Moscow mule mugs for the signature cocktails. "They were some of the most unique details of the day," Stacey remarks.
Following the cocktail reception, guests enjoyed a delicious dinner. "We really wanted our wedding to feel like we were hosting our own dinner party," Stacey says. "The food, wine and, most importantly, the company made for a memorable evening we will both never forget."
