A Lake House Wedding In Calgary

Erin and Landon's wedding was inspired by elegant, rustic, floral and garden party themes. "We wanted to focus less on people being there for our wedding, and more on people being there to celebrate our love with us," Erin explains.

They created an atmosphere that was elegant but at the same time, effortless, relaxed, and inviting. "We wanted our guests to feel like they had stepped into a summer garden party that was in full swing or a laughter-filled family dinner in a beautiful vineyard," she says. The pair created their ideal atmosphere using a colour palette of blush, peach, yellow and deeper reds.

To add a personal touch to their wedding, and to showcase their appreciation of classic cars, the couple rented out a Rolls Royce for their big day.

At the reception, they shared their first dance to "Makin' Plans" by Miranda Lambert. "I have spent many years traveling the world and Calgary finally felt like home when I met Landon" said Erin. "We love spending time together and 'making plans' and dreaming about our future together, so this song was a perfect fit for us."
