For Agnes and Travis, when the opportunity came to get married in the Bahamas, it was a no-brainer. The couple was one of 16 lucky Canadian couples chosen through a contest to have their wedding take place at 4 p.m. in 16 different locations across the Bahamas. "Our wedding celebration was very intimate--it was just us," Agnes says. "We threw a separate party for family and friends who weren't able to attend."
On the day of their wedding, it looked like it was going to rain. "Our wedding planner, Kwanza Clay Bowe, told us that if the extreme weather continued, we needed a backup plan for the venue," Agnes recalls. "We hoped the weather would cooperate because we really wanted to get married on the beach!"
Luckily, the weather did cooperate, and the couple was able to get married on the beach as planned. Agnes, dressed in a Galina Signature bridal gown from David's Bridal, made her way across the sand to meet her groom, wearing a gorgeous crown adorned with local blooms.
For the couple, exchanging vows was a moment they'll never forget. "I felt my heart racing, and the expression on Travis's face was full of emotion and sincerity," Agnes says. "When we sat down to sign the wedding contract, a rainbow appeared over our heads!"
