A Hamptons Chic Wedding In Toronto

Alexandra and Michael first met at an event, where they talked into the wee hours. "He walked me home, a week later we started dating and we haven't been apart since," Alexandra shares.

The couple got engaged in the Ralph Lauren store in Chicago. "It's a beautiful mansion turned into a store," Alexandra says. The employees they had met two years previously, when they first visited the store as a new couple, greeted them with champagne to celebrate their two-year anniversary. "At that point Mike figured it was the perfect time to propose, so he did!" Alexandra smiles.

The morning of the wedding, Michael sent a wedding gift to the Le Germain suite Alexandra was staying in with her bridesmaids. "One of the best moments was my five best friends jumping on the king size bed with me as I opened my gift. It really hit me that I was marrying the right man for me when I opened the card and all it said was 'Today I become the luckiest man alive.' I started bawling," Alexandra recalls.

For their reception, the couple knew they had to include a memory table. "My brother passed away about two years before the wedding, as well as one of my really good friends six months later. We were also both very close with our grandparents growing up," Alexandra explains. "It was nice to have that added touch knowing that they were all there in spirit, even if it was just in picture form."
