Michele and Colin wanted their wedding to be the perfect blend of classic and modern. "We chose a very simple colour scheme of white, grey and hints of gold," Michele explains. "We appreciated the beauty of simple touches with minimal colours and let our venue speak for itself."
Although the couple met in New York, they were married in Michele's hometown of Montreal. The Windsor Station proved to be a magical reception venue, even though that wasn't where they originally planned to hold their celebration. "Our original venue went on strike, so we had to scramble to find another venue," Michele explains. "Windsor Station turned out to be even better than we could have ever hoped for."
One of Michele's favourite reception details was the mirrored seating chart. "We have to thank Liana, our planner, for the idea," Michele says. "It was beautiful!"
An unforgettable moment came at the end of the night, when "Bonfire Hearts" by James Blunt played as the final song. "Only our nearest and dearest were left, and to have them singing around us was incredible," Michele says.
