Eric and Stephanie met while working at Starbucks. "We didn’t speak to each other until a year later at a going away party for one of the staff members," Stephanie says. "We had been working opposite shifts so we never really had a chance to talk." To pay homage to where they first met, Eric proposed to Stephanie by placing the engagement ring inside a Starbucks' cup.

"We are both people who enjoy the simple pleasures in life, so we wanted our wedding to reflect that," Stephanie explains. "We chose a minimalist-chic wedding theme with burgundy red flowers and lots of greenery, which we used in our centrepieces and the bride and bridesmaid bouquets." The couple decided to go the non-traditional route and have a dessert bar in lieu of a cake. "This included an eye-popping collection of carrot cake, mini doughnuts, vanilla cheesecake with cherry sauce and a fruit platter," Stephanie shares. "It was both beautiful and delicious."

One of the bride's favourite wedding details was her simple but elegant lace dress by Lillian West. "I wanted to stick with a bohemian feel," Stephanie shares. "When I first saw the dress, I fell in love with the embroidered lace."

The couple admit that the highlights of the day were the first look and the speeches at the reception. "We anticipated the first look moment and when it finally happened we were both so happy," Stephanie says. "At the reception the speeches from our wedding party were filled with so much love and support. There were teary-eyed moments and moments filled with pure laughter!"
