A Black, Green And Gold Wedding In Kleinburg, Ontario

Shannon and Travis met online, and have been inseparable ever since their first date.

As a wedding planner and stationery designer, Shannon has a creative eye for detail and design. “It was so nice to set the tone and feeling for our wedding day from the beginning,” Shannon says. “I loved how the invites really enhanced and tied in the design for the entire day.”

The lush, green gardens of The Doctor’s House in Kleinburg, Ontario allowed Shannon’s vision to come to life. Drawing from inspiration from their home décor, Shannon and Travis incorporated tons of plants, gold accents and geometric patterns throughout their wedding, and made sure to add some personal touches.

“I love how bright and inviting our home feels, and we both really wanted our wedding day to feel the same,” Shannon says. “The geometric shelving unit, featuring greenery and images of our loved ones who have passed on - my husband and I built that ourselves and it was so incredible to have that memory and make it be a showpiece at our wedding for our guests.”
