For proclaimed foodies, Liz and Aaron, good eats and delicious drinks were paramount to their two-day wedding, with an intimate ceremony on the Friday and big celebration on the Saturday. “We wanted our wedding to represent us as a couple but also provide the best guest experience,” the two share. As a nod to Aaron’s love for beer, the couple opted to host their celebration at Canvas Brewery in Huntsville Ontario, which was a new, local brewery at the time. The brewery provided tours for guests and a variety of beer options to try along the way. In addition, the newlyweds shared their love for snacks by having a fire pit outdoors complemented with a food truck.
Adding to the intimate atmosphere that they created for their 150 guests was the live acoustic music provided by Tobin Spring. “We love live music and to be able to have an acoustic performance for all or our important moments such as first dances was incredible,” Liz describes. “He was also someone Aaron grew up listening to in Hunstville, which made it even more personal to us and supporting local was really important.”
Looking back, the two could not have a more perfect day. “We were blown away by how our vendors really took our vision and brought it to life, and we truly got to enjoy the moments of the whole weekend,” the two smile.
