An Elegant Winter Wedding In Winnipeg, Manitoba

For Fallon and Jimmy, ringing in 2012 with an elegant winter wedding surrounded by their friends and family was the perfect way to ensure their New Year's Eve would be fun and memorable. “My twin sister got married earlier in the summer,” Fallon says. “We wanted to do something completely different and winter seemed like the ideal season.” With plans for an elegant evening, the two chose a classic decor style featuring black and white damask tablecloths, rhinestone napkin holders, red charger plates, and twinkle lights. The highlight of the evening—for the couple and all of their 240 guests—occurred just as the clock struck 12. “The band did a countdown, we served champagne and everyone was so excited,” Fallon smiles. “It was fantastic to ring in the New Year as newlyweds.”
