Guests could feel the passion between Lita and Dave during their elegant wedding at Hart House in Toronto. The couple, who got engaged exactly one year before in Shanghai, shared a romantic sneak peak before the ceremony, allowing them to calm their nerves and regroup before saying their vows. Hart House was completely transformed to suit the elegant wedding theme, boasting long tables for their 150 guests to wine and dine and small trees with dangling tea lights in the corners. Large pillar candles on top of rounded mirrors sat atop tables and decorative lanterns were placed around the room for a vintage feel. Portuguese custard cakes, cupcakes, lemon and pecan tarts and an Italian pastry tower were served instead of a wedding cake. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and PHABIS (Peel Halton Acquired Brain Injury Services) were made in lieu of favours, a thoughtful way to finish off the elegant wedding celebration.
