An Elegant Wedding In Coquitlam, B.C.

When it came to planning for their elegant wedding in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Sadaf and Pedro wanted to incorporate as many do-it-yourself details as possible. The couple designed their own wedding invitations, had a family member bake their elegant wedding cakes and even got their friends and family involved with decorating their stunning wedding reception space, which was hung with lovely blue and white lanterns and floral arrangements to match. This elegant wedding day also featured elements that paid tribute to the bride and groom's heritage -- Spanish music played during the reception to celebrate Pedro's Guatemalan roots followed by and Afghan songs to honour Sadaf's Afghan background. In the end their wedding day was all that the British Columbia couple could have wished for. They continued their celebrations with a trip to Disney World -- the perfect honeymoon for this couple considering Pedro proposed with an Aladdin-themed cake on Sadaf's birthday!
