An Elegant Wedding at the Montreal Science Centre - Bride and Groom

Melissa and Ernest first met when they were scouting leaders for the Brownies and Bear Cubs. Years later, Ernest messaged Melissa on Facebook. It took some persistence from Ernest, but Melissa agreed to a dinner date and soon the two became inseparable. "We had an instant connection," Melissa shares.

The couple decided to get ready together before their wedding because they wanted to be together the entire day. "Our family and friends came over so we had great music playing and great food," Melissa recalls.

Before Melissa changed into her wedding dress, Ernest left to go to the church. "He wanted his first time seeing me to be a surprise," Melissa says.

One of the most unforgettable details from their wedding were the decor and flowers. "We chose a formal black-tie affair detailed with tufted chairs and cut-glass flatware," Melissa explains. "Our decor details and flowers turned our reception space into a dreamy, romantic venue."

The walk into the hall as Mr. and Mrs. Badalian was one of the couple's favourite moments from their wedding day. "Having all our guests cheering us on and then surrounding us on the dance floor was an amazing feeling," Melissa says. "We definitely felt the love in the room."

"Our wedding day went by so quickly," Melissa smiles, "But we made a point of taking the time to enjoy every moment and all of our friends and family who came to celebrate with us."
