An Elegant Vintage Wedding In Kelowna, British Columbia

Tess and Darcy tied the knot in Kelowna, BC at Summerhill Winery overlooking a beautiful vineyard. “We finally decided on Kelowna because it's one of our favorite places to visit,” explains Tess. “We love the weather, the scenery and the wineries—it is truly Canada's own version of Tuscany,” Tess says. The couple filled the space with vintage touches and soft details like vintage origami, rustic books, old pictures, a vintage bicycle, a typewriter, and flowers of soft, pale hues to compliment. They included a popcorn bar and candy bar with all their favourite goodies. “Cupcakes, cake treats and mini cakes were all added to the table and enjoyed by many,” recalls Tess. To make the night perfect, Darcy wrote and recorded “Tingles” (Tessa Ingles)-- a song about Tess in which he sang for her during the ceremony.
