An Elegant Summer Wedding in Ottawa

Vicki and Ryan celebrated an elegant summer wedding with 130 friends at the Hilton Lac-Leamy last June. With a vision of simple sophistication, the couple -- who got engaged over a plate of lasagna -- selected personal details for their celebration, like maple syrup favours cultivated by the groom's father in trees from his backyard. Vicki, donning a traditional ball gown from Baroness Bridal, accessorized with a classic pearl necklace and colourful pumps, contributing a punch of colour to the otherwise neutral palette of the elegant summer wedding. The bridesmaids, dressed in pretty white dresses, carried ethereal bouquets of white blooms and greenery. The fresh, organic shades were carried through to the reception space at the elegant summer wedding, where monobotanic clusters of hydrangea, tulips and dahlias were arranged on the tables. Vicki and Ryan enjoyed their first dance to "Best Friend" by Tim McGraw.
