An Elegant, Purple Wedding In Burlington, Ontario

Valentina and Matt met through Valentina's cousin. One night they all ended up at a night club that they had not planned to be at and introductions were made. Valentina believes that fate played a roll in helping her find her soul mate.

The couple's September wedding began with a traditional church ceremony. "Walking down the aisle and seeing all of our family and friends was magical – and seeing Matt waiting for me at the end of the aisle is something I will never forget," says Valentina.

After the ceremony, the wedding party took a detour to the Burlington pier to snap some photos. The sun was shining and there was only a slight breeze, which resulted in some lovely shots. Following the photo session the couple made their grand entrance into their reception.

"Our reception was like something out of a dream. Our decorator truly took our vision of what we wanted the space to look like and made it a reality," recalls Valentina. "It was actually even more spectacular than we thought it would be. Everything from the flowers, to the décor, to the lighting was stunning and took my breath away." Valentina says one of her favourite wedding details was the chandelier hung directly above the couple's head table. "It was a chandelier completely decorated with flowers. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It was completely unique and stunning and totally added that extra element of elegance to our wedding," she says.
