An Elegant Pink Wedding in Mississauga, Ontario

As fate would have it, Nelin and Justin met on their first day of grade five when a teacher assigned them seats beside each other. Their friendship grew as they got older, and the two began dating shortly before entering high school -- the childhood sweethearts have been inseparable ever since!

Justin sneakily planned a big “Christmas party” during the couple’s last year of university as a cover for what he really wanted to do, which was to gather all of their closest friends and propose in front of them all. “He popped the question during a toast at the party and I was completely floored!” says Nelin.

The couple’s romantic summer wedding featured luxe details and vibrant pink personalized accents -- from their initials spelled out in flower petals down the aisle, to the romantic candlelit centerpieces, complemented by rose petals and crystals. “The ceremony décor was incredible. Our wedding designer turned our banquet hall into a fairytale wedding,” says Nelin.

Their wedding song was the classic Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons tune “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” as Jersey Boys was the first musical the couple saw together, and one of their favourite dates. “This song was so emotional at the end of the musical and it really resonated with our relationship,” explains Nelin.
