An Elegant Outdoor Wedding in Montreal, Quebec

Candice and David met at McGill University while they were both earning their education degrees. The day before he left for a month long education conference overseas, Candice found a bouquet of flowers from David in her car with a note that instructed her to turn on the music. “As Pachelbel's Canon was playing in the background, the notes instructed me to go to other parts of the car. This continued with various notes and poems explaining how much he loved me,” Candice says with a smile. Eventually, she found the ring-box; beside a note that said David was around the corner, and to call him if she would marry him. “I called him in tears and he came running over. He got down on one knee and I said yes!” Candice reminisces.

The two held their wedding at a stylish golf club on Montreal's West Island, where they recited their own vows at a beautiful outdoor ceremony. In lieu of favours, the couple made a generous donation to the Montreal Children’s Hospital in their guests' names.
