Sylvia and Spencer met during the first week of university and hit it off instantly. On their seventh anniversary, Spencer popped the question at the London Club with – surprise! – their family and friends waiting in the next room.
The couple's wedding was a romantic and elegant affair, incorporating soft shades of beige, champagne, and pink. The bridesmaids picked their own pink maxi dresses and even though they were first seen side-by-side on the big day, "they went together so well," Sylvia notes.
For a touch of sparkle, silver centrepieces thrifted from garage sales and passed down from Spencer's family were added. Sylvia also incorporated flower-filled teapots into her reception decor to pay tribute to the many high teas she had enjoyed with her new mother-in-law.
Sylvia and Spencer's day was filled with family highlights. The bride says one of her favourite moments was walking down the aisle with her father as everyone they loved looked on. The pair also say they especially enjoyed the heartfelt and loving speeches from their parents.
The couple agree that on a day filled with high points, nothing could compare to the moment they were pronounced husband and wife. "I've never felt so much happiness," says Sylvia.
