Two days before Christmas, Doreen Hsu and Joseph Lee -- who met as students at the University of Western Ontario -- celebrated with an elegant blue winter wedding. Over 200 guests gathered for the Christian ceremony at Cornerstone Chinese Alliance Church before proceeding to the reception at Crystal Fountain Banquet Hall. Clutching vibrant green blooms, Doreen's bridesmaids dressed in multiple shades of blue, achieving a stylish ombre look that was just as fresh as their bouquets. Doreen, meanwhile, was a classic, timeless bride in her gown from The Brides' Project and sentimentally borrowed accessories. "It felt like everyone was part of each wedding detail," explains Doreen. The elegant blue winter wedding featured seasonal decor like pinecones and glittering Christmas ornaments. With ample holiday spirit, Doreen and Joseph made charitable donations to Iris Ministries Canada on behalf of their friends and family. As a final sweet touch, the elegant blue winter wedding featured a wedding cake homemade by the bride.
