Following the old adage of including “something blue,” Virginie and Danick ensured the hue was incorporated throughout their wedding, from the floral arrangements to the bride’s shoes. “We chose blue because it is vibrant, fresh and perfect for summer. We also added highlights of yellow because it’s my favourite colour,” Virginie says. The couple’s accents were complete with citrus fruits and candles to create a romantic and delicate ambience. “My favourite moment was our first entrance as husband and wife,” Virginie smiles. “Everyone was cheering and smiling...we could really feel the love. Then during our first dance to ‘Je L’aime à Mourir’ by Francis Cabrel everyone joined us and sang along. It was like we had a choir serenading us! It was magical.”
