An Architectural Wedding With Vintage Accents

Bonding over their lifelong passion for design is what brought Annie and Cameron together. “We were friends first, but after chatting about our love for architecture, we realized we were perfect for each other,” Annie laughs. For their wedding day, Annie (who owns her own design agency) and Cameron (who works for an architecture firm) put together a party that played off their professions. “Our theme was architectural landscape,” Annie shares. “We tried to incorporate our style into our stationery by creating personalized placemats, which included a map of the Niagara region, and putting together cardboard boxes—shaped to look like houses—for our centrepieces.” Although the day started off with sunshine, the clouds crept in and it poured down. “Luckily, we had a tent nearby,” Annie smiles. “The rain didn’t happen until after our meal, and we ended up having a fun time just lounging around and listening to jazz music—we couldn’t have timed it better.”
