A Yellow and Black Wedding in Fredericton, New Brunswick

After dating for four and a half years, marriage was definitely on both Lindsey and Dustin's minds. During a trip to see the Boston Bruins play, Dustin bet Lindsey that she wouldn't be able to refrain from talking about weddings for at least two weeks. Lindsey accepted the challenge. When they arrived in Boston to see the game, Dustin told Lindsey he wanted to snap a pic with the new Bobby Orr statue. He took one photo then told her to come closer so he could take another. Lindsey obliged and as she did Dustin got down on one knee and proposed. “That night he won my heart and the bet!” says Lindsey.

Lindsey and Dustin's passion for hockey carried forward into their lovely, whimsical wedding day. The couple's colour scheme, yellow and black, coincided with the Boston Bruins' team colours and their wedding featured a Boston Bruins garter as well as Bruins cookie favours -- Lindsey's favourite detail. The bridal party even made a pit stop at a hockey rink to snap some shots.

Lindsey added femininity to her day with love bird stationery and table numbers as well as yellow calla lily and gerbera daisy centrepieces and a stunning ruffle and chevron adorned wedding cake.
