Julie and Jo decided on a winter mountain wedding in Canmore complete with pristine white snow and spectacular views. The pair planned their celebration around a red, yellow and white colour scheme to match Jo’s Royal Canadian Mounted Police uniform. Indeed, many of the couple’s favourite details incorporated this colour combination, including Jo’s red serge, Julie’s red socks and the bridesmaids’ canary yellow dresses. Both Julie and Jo agree that their favourite moment was during their first look photographs before the ceremony. However, their first dance was also memorable as they chose “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong, a song that always makes them laugh. “We both really like this song because it reminds us to enjoy every little moment life has to offer,” Julie concludes.
