The chilling winds may have forced Jonathan indoors to propose to his girlfriend Karen, but they didn't interfere with the warm winter wedding that followed. Eighty guests joined the couple for an intimate celebration at the charming Fairholm Inn in Charlottetown. Festooned with classic Christmas decorations, the charming inn was ideal for a winter wedding filled with handmade details. In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, Karen baked her own red velvet cupcakes. Guests departed the winter wedding with bottles of mustard and jam that Karen and Jonathan had purchased from a local farmer's market and customized with their own labels. "Buying local is something that is very important to Jon and I," says Karen.
