Cameron planned his surprise romantic proposal for Jessica for weeks, choosing to pop the question on the shores of Lake Memphremagog in Quebec, guitar in hand.
The Calgary Polo Club was the perfect spot for this pair’s gorgeous country wedding. Cameron and Jessica wed under rustic wooden arbour strung with pom-poms then hosted a reception filled with charming details including rustic buntings, wildflower-filled Mason jar centrepieces, and vintage books and dollies. Their desserts included delicious homestyle pies and crisps, accompanied by an adorable owl-topped wedding cake.
One of Cameron and Jessica’s favourite moments was performing a swing dance number for their guests. “We were goofy about it, but we had lots of fun!” says Jessica. They chose Patrick Watson’s “To Build A Home” for their wedding song. “He’s one of our favorite Canadian artists and the entire song is about building a life with the one you love and seeing it through from start to finish, through the ups and the downs,” shares Jessica.
