A Vintage Wedding in Sechelt, British Columbia
The saying goes that you will find the perfect person as soon as you stop looking. This was definitely true for Jessica Abbs and Luke Wares. The two met under odd circumstances at a mutual friend's party. "I jumped out of a hallway and scared him, mistaking him for someone else, and he just sheepishly walked away. After a few months of attempting to see each other again, we finally did, and the rest is history," explains Jessica. The couple chose to tie the knot at the Seaside Centre in Sechelt because the venue's wood beams and high ceilings perfectly suited the simple, vintage vision they had for their wedding. "The ceremony went by in a flash but it was perfect," says Jessica.
