Laura and David's romance found its beginnings at their workplace in Toronto. "After a few months of living in our new home in Leslieville, Dave proposed one morning in bed. We left the same day for two weeks in Italy. It was a great way to start an engagement!" Laura exclaims.
Laura started her wedding day relaxing on a dock with her mom and bridesmaids before heading to Domain of Killien, a rustic, lakeside property, to tie the knot.
The festivities continued at Pinestone Resort, which was decorated with twinkle lights, Mason jars and chalkboard accents for a homespun feel. Honey-themed escort cards and favours completed the sweet, woodsy ambiance.
Aside from her walk down the aisle, Laura says another highlight of the day was having the opportunity to be photographed with a four-day-old fawn.
