Nathalie and David’s whirlwind romance began at a coffee shop in Mont-Tremblant—she was working behind the counter, and he was a regular customer. “We started to chat and all of the sudden David started to drink more coffee,” Nathalie laughs. Eventually, David asked Nathalie to dinner, and the two became inseparable after what she describes as “a perfect first date.” Just two months later Nathalie was faced with a difficult decision when David’s working visa expired, and he had to return to the United Kingdom immediately. Even though they had only known each other for a couple of months, and she had never left the country, Nathalie took a leap of faith: “I knew he was the one, so I decided to follow him,” she shares. After two years, the pair returned to Canada with marriage on their minds. Choosing the perfect venue for their classic celebration was easy—the two headed back to Mont-Tremblant and hosted 115 guests at the scenic Hôtel du Lac.
