A Stylish Modern Wedding In Toronto, Ontario

High school sweethearts Amy and Joseph met through a friend in 2003 and started dating immediately. After a seven-year courtship, Joseph popped the question on December 27, 2010 while the couple was vacationing in New York.

For her big day Amy envisioned a stylish modern wedding celebration, which also paid homage to Joseph's Armenian heritage.

Amy, resplendent in a voluminous Vera Wang ballgown, elaborate veil and Valentino pumps married her groom at a traditional ceremony at Trinity Anglican Church in Cambridge, Ontario, then headed to the big city for a reception at The Fermenting Cellar in Toronto's Distillery District. Amy and Joseph decorated their modern venue with warm, elegant touches, hanging chandeliers from the rafters and topping their tables with modern calla lily centrepieces. Guests were treated to a gourmet meal and two bands (an English rock and soul ensemble and an Armenian band) with dancing before and after dinner.
