A Sophisticated Wedding in Edmonton

When Celina went out to a hockey game with Bernie one night, she had no idea the surprise that was awaiting her back at their house. When they got home, she opened the back door to let the dogs out, and saw "Will you marry me?" written out in candles and all of their closest friends and family standing in the backyard.

The two decide to share their big day in a big way -- they had about 500 guests join them at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, in what Celine describes as a modern romantic celebration.

Some of the couple's favourite details of the day included the lovely floral chandelier that hovered above the head table, as well as their stunning draped backdrop. "Instead of clinking glasses to make us kiss, Bernie and I competed against our guests in mock Olympic games," Celine explains. "We had a blast going head to head with our guests and even winning a game or two."
