A Simple, Purple Wedding in Winnipeg, Manitoba
These high school sweethearts planned their wedding in just four weeks! "Everything just seemed to fall into place on our wedding day," says Kristina. "Everything just seemed to fall into place on our wedding day. We got such beautiful locations and we really lucked out with amazing September weather for an outdoor ceremony," she adds.
Kristina and Eric adopted a less is more philosophy for their celebration. A purple colour palette was chosen based on the availability of bridesmaids' dresses. "When the owners of Stella’s Bridal said they had 10 matching purple bridesmaids dresses in stock in various sizes, we couldn’t believe it. We went with purple!" exclaims Kristina. "We are very laid back and wanted a simple wedding," says Kristina. "The most important aspect of planning the wedding wasn’t the little details but the people who were there."
