A Rustic, Winter Wedding in Canmore, Alberta

Jennifer and Jordan’s winter wedding was full of understated romance and rustic details. Their neutral colour scheme allowed the natural beauty of Canmore’s landscape to shine through. The couple’s minimal decor also emphasized their venue’s exposed wooden beams and iron hardware. “I wanted things to be simple, so the tables had no tablecloths, just centrepieces of candles, pine cones, Mason jars and baby’s breath,” Jennifer explains. Space heaters warmed the patio and huge snowflakes drifted around the bride and groom as they said their vows, making the ceremony their favourite part of the wedding. “It was absolutely breathtaking,” Jennifer shares. The newlyweds ended their weekend-long wedding extravaganza on a high note by tubing down the Mount Norquay ski hills with family and friends!
