From the moment Cecily and Greg saw the grounds of Pineridge Hollow, they just knew they had be married there. “It reminded me of my grandma’s house, which was filled with antiques,” Cecily explains. “I wanted to recreate that feeling with the same little details at our wedding.” With help from her mother and friends—the self-proclaimed “decor squad”—Cecily planned the ultimate outdoor rustic, vintage wedding celebration complete with birch bark features, DIY projects and warm globe lanterns hanging in the tent. To create a rustic, vintage wedding wonderland, the bride chose a neutral colour palette with purple and green accents. “My favourite flowers are lilacs,” tells Cecily. “I wanted to incorporate colours that would be found outdoors at that time of year to keep the decor looking natural.”
