A Rustic Spring Wedding in Balmoral, New Brunswick
Geneviève and Jean-François met as co-workers when they began their new jobs at the same time. Their engagement came after a romantic walk at their cottage back in 2011 and straightaway the couple began planning their rustic spring wedding.
Jean-François and Geneviève's big day was filled with DIY details. Their reception tables were topped with mason jar candles, potted plant centrepieces and vintage buttons in earthy tones. Lights and pearls adorned branches scattered around the reception space, giving it an intimate feel, and guests were gifted with both a sweet treat and spruce and pine seedlings from around New Brunswick to plant in their gardens after the celebration.
One of Geneviève and Jean-François’s favourite memories of the day was enjoying a drive in a gorgeous vintage car after the ceremony -- after stalling several times in front of all the guests!
