Kacey and Mike’s rustic ranch wedding came together exactly as they had pictured it. The couple opted for a private venue for their "I dos" with wedding guests seated atop massive timber logs during the ceremony. A friend sang “Amazing Grace” during the procession, which Kacey remembers as an incredibly moving moment of the day.
Bridesmaids were outfitted in mismatched dresses to match the laidback vibe of the celebration and during the reception the couple's wedding band played a set list filled with old country hits. While these were some of the bride's favourite details, Kacey and Michael both agree that nothing could compare to their first kiss as a married couple.
Their special day was filled with simple details DIY details; the vases used as décor were all hand painted on the inside, the tablecloths and lace runners were sewn together from lace found at second hand stores, and the mother of the bride created the simple, beautiful bouquets.
