A Rustic Farm Wedding in Adolphustown, Ontario

Katie and Dan’s wedding was truly a family affair. The pair was married on the porch of the farmhouse that has been in Dan’s family since 1815. “That was such an incredible feeling as the location is such a huge part of Dan’s family history,” Katie smiles. The couple celebrated their day with 120 guests who were treated to a homey-feeling fete, which featured a beautiful tented reception as well as a fun zone (including a foosball table) that was set up in the barn. Late-night party antics included a poutine truck and some guests skinny-dipping in the nearby lake! For their honeymoon, the pair left the country life behind—swapping tractors for camels—and enjoyed a five-week adventure in Morocco and Spain.
