Layne and Jeffrey’s journey to the altar began in 5th grade. The two attended different elementary schools, which were separated by an outdoor track. One fateful day, Layne crossed the track to meet up with some friends on the other side, and she was introduced to Jeffrey. “That was the day we became friends, which turned into best friends, which grew into a relationship,” Layne shares. For their wedding, this country couple planned a rustic celebration that was true to their roots. “The country theme seemed natural, and it suited our laid-back personalities,” Layne explains. Finding the perfect location for their ceremony was just as easy. The two said “I do” at Layne’s parents’ house, beneath a custom-made willow arch. “It was amazing to be able to create such a special memory at the home I grew up in,” Layne reflects.
