A Rustic and Romantic Wedding in Manitoba
Even though Jennifer and James found each other using an online dating site, James tells everyone they met when he saved her from a burning building. “We didn’t meet in a romantic way, but James always makes sure people think we did,” Jennifer shares. Six years later, Jennifer was patiently awaiting James’ proposal, but of course, James knew better than to throw her off with a grand romantic gesture. “Knowing I would be suspicious if he planned something big, James proposed in our bedroom as we were getting ready to go out. I was speechless and said ‘thank you’ before I managed to say ‘yes,’” Jennifer laughs. They celebrated their nuptials at the historic Clear Lake venue Danceland (where music greats like Roy Brown have performed) and danced the night away!
