It was a destination wedding for both Erika and Michael who live in Australia but decided to tie the knot in Erika’s hometown. “I was studying in Australia when I met Michael. We started dating and I decided to become a citizen,” Erika explains. “Following our engagement, we decided to have a wedding in my home country. With the help of my best friend, we were able to book Cecil Green Park House as our venue.” With a Tuscan-inspired theme in mind, Erika and Michael looked to Say Events Co., to help plan their dream day. Brimming with a sea of flowers and gorgeous greenery, florists Angela and Gabriel of Angela & Gabriel’s Flowers brought their vision to life with romantic arrangements from whimsy centrepieces to a jaw-dropping arch.
Following a heartwarming ceremony, guests were greeted with picture-perfect communal reception tables draped in grey linen, acrylic signage and hanging greenery. Adding to their memorable day was their first twirl as husband and wife. “We took dance classes every Sunday morning,” Erika shares. “Michael’s mom was a dancer and and we wanted our first dance to be unique, complete with lifts and turns that we were able to pull off.” Ending the evening on a high note, the newlyweds twirled the night away surrounded by their closest friends!
