Every once in awhile I come across a real wedding that gives me goosebumps–this happens to be one of those weddings. You can tell by the gorgeous photos alone, that this wedding was certainly a labour of love. Simple yet chic floral arrangements added to the romance of the venue, but the location itself, Violet Hill (love the name!) set the tone for Laura and Kevin's vintage wedding day. Shot by Lee Anne Havens of Flower Child Photography (a super-talented individual who prides herself on capturing the dreamiest of photos), here's what she had to say on the duo:
Laura and Kevin had a small, intimate, classy and vintage party, none of the usual over-the-top wedding ideas–just the ceremony and dinner, no dancing. One of my favourite things was that Laura's, being an artist, was so willing to go along with my new ideas about the shoot (more posing than usual for me). Hair, make-up, jewellery and dress were to-die for. Her simple hairpiece was tatting that her grandmother had used for her wedding, so wonderful, not the usual piece of jewellery. And I loved the fact that Kevin wore a white suit with running shoes, a little bit of a rock n' rollish detail for me.
