A Romantic Vintage Wedding In Osoyoos, British Columbia

Sarah and Jonathan met at a campground in Osoyoos, British Columbia— a place they had both gone to for years with their friends and family, yet had never bumped into each other. They finally crossed paths in 2006 and five years later Jonathan popped the question. “He proposed Christmas Eve in our home with two gifts: a picture frame that said, 'Will you marry me?' followed by a gorgeous ring from Tiffany & Co,” recalls Sarah. A year later the couple married at a romantic vintage wedding ceremony on the rooftop of Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa, moving to the vineyard patio for the reception. Mason jars filled with candles and candies, flowers in vintage soda bottles and chalkboard details appeared throughout their celebration. “We had Whole Foods supply six-inch pies as favours for our guests and they were a hit,” says Sarah. The couple celebrated by dancing the night away. “We belted out and danced to 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen on the dance floor with all of our friends and family at the end of the night,” says Sarah.
